"Haven't had as much time as hoped to play with the engine. Apart from the oil pump, a big end bearing, and the internal pieces which are missing, everything seems to be in reasonably good nick. I'll see what I can grab from uni during the week. Spoke to Luke who said there is a box of F4i parts for me to go through.
I wasn't planning on taking the head off unless anyone convinces me otherwise. Need to check valve clearances still.
Won't know if 1st April suits until Wednesday. I will look to have the engine assembled for that day, however being April Fools' Day I may leave out the crankshaft."
